How to accomplish your goals 


Every year, new goals and New Year’s resolutions are written down with expectations of success. Are you one of those bold individuals not scared to put a goal down and go for it? Many people are bold, and they usually write down New Year goals, or at least think of them.

Which comes first, the goal or the becoming?

Anthony Joshua, an Olympic gold medalist in boxing and a two-time unified heavyweight champion, recently shared his thoughts on discipline. The reporter asked, when you get cravings for cheat meals, do you eat pizza? His response was a firm no. He said, “When you have to get up in the morning and go to the gym and work out, and you train like you ate vegetables, but you didn’t, why didn’t you just do the right thing?”

Are you expecting a new year without being a new you? Many times, we set goals or resolutions, but we fail to add the discipline it will take to become the person who can not only achieve the goal, but maintain it as well.

As the clock strikes 12 a.m. for the new year, choose your hard. Impose the hard discipline it takes to get farther in life, or be left with the hard life that comes without discipline. When it strikes 12 a.m. tomorrow, expect a new year, but most importantly, expect a new you!
